Rockets’ season comes to an end in the Regional Championship game against Oregon.

Rock Falls advanced to the finals of the 2A Oregon Regional defeating Winnebago 7-2 at Oregon Park West. The Rockets will face the Oregon Hawks for the regional championship on Saturday, May 23.

• Zoey Silva had a huge game going 2-5 with a double and 2 RBIs
• Korah Hosler added a hit
• Abbie Baldwin recorded a hit

There are some wins that mean more than what happens on the scoreboard. 💛💚 So proud of Madi, her strength, and the example she sets for everyone around her every day. 🚀

Rock Falls softball player Madi Eikenberry missed her freshman year while battling Ewing sarcoma, a rare type of bone cancer. Now one year cancer free, she has been the Rockets' top hitter. 'I’m so grateful for every day that I get to be alive.'

• Kendra Scott had a big game going 3-4 with a double and 2 RBIs
• Julia Renner added an RBI
