The road to the 2026 RDGA District Championship is officially underway.

A strong field of competitors teed it up at Sycamore Golf Club for the first District Championship Qualifier, battling for a spot in the 2026 John H. Ryan Jr. Memorial at Stafford Country Club.

Congratulations to all players who earned their way into the Championship field and thank you to Sycamore Golf Club for hosting another outstanding qualifier.

🏌️‍♂️ Rochester’s own is headed to the U.S. Open.

At just 18 years old, Jackson Ormond punched his ticket to the 126th U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills after an incredible performance during Golf’s Longest Day at Gaston Country Club.

Ormond fired rounds of 65-63 (-12) to earn his place in one of golf’s most prestigious championships and continues an impressive rise as a future Florida Gator.

From Webster, NY to the biggest stage in golf. Congratulations, Jackson! 👏

A beautiful day at Stafford Country Club and another great chapter in the 2026 RDGA tournament season. ⛳

The Two Person Best Ball on Monday brought together golfers of all ages and skill levels for a day of competition, camaraderie, and memorable moments across five divisions. From championship contenders chasing RDGA District Championship exemptions to first-time tournament players experiencing the excitement of RDGA competition, Stafford Country Club provided the perfect setting for a fantastic day of golf.

The LPGA-USGA Girls Golf program is the only junior golf program designed specifically for girls ages 6-17, creating a fun, welcoming environment where girls can learn the game, build confidence, make friends, and develop skills that last a lifetime.

The RDGA Foundation is proud to support programs that make golf more accessible and welcoming for the next generation. Through Girls Golf, young athletes are discovering the game in a positive environment built just for them.
