Welcome to the UMR Dance Team page! We are a group of students with a passion for dancing! If you ar Our dances are a mixture of jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, and kick.

The University of Minnesota Rochester Dance Team was founded in the Fall of 2010. Each year, we learn new routines and perform them for UMR's student body, faculty, and staff as well as for community members and events. We have a variety of members including those with both studio and school dance team backgrounds, but welcome anyone, regardless of dance experience!

The UMR Golden Starlettes will be dancing pregame
TIMBERWOLVES VS. GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS
Sunday December 11th, 2016! We dance at 5:30pm, game starts at 6:00pm!

If you would like to come support the Starlettes, you can purchase tickets online ($28) at www.timberwolves.com/groupoffers and use the promo code "UMRDance".

If you would like to mail in your payment, you can do so by printing and filling out the form below.

Please keep in mind, the event coordinators have told us that this is one of the most popular games of the year and tickets will sell out fast! We recommend purchasing sooner rather than later.

Come check out our performance tonight at the UMR talent show located at the Civic Center! The doors open at 6:30 and the show begins at 7:00! The event is free for UMR students and costs $5 or a donation of white t-shirts for others!

Hello UMR students, I hope you all had a fantastic winter break. The Golden Starlettes Dance team is looking for new members, if you or anyone you know is interested please free to contact me (Achai Biong) or my co-captain Emma Larkin. Dancers of all levels are encouraged to join. We practice Mondays and Wednesdays at the YMCA. Our practices are geared toward increasing flexibility, strength, skills, and of course having fun. Our first practice will be Monday January 25th at 7:30 pm, see you there! :)

For anyone who missed it, we will be having a meeting in USquare room 317 tomorrow September 17th at 6 p.m. We are also looking for a club representative to represent the dance team at RSA meetings and events.
