We are excited to announce the start of our third session of the annual practice and play program on January 7th. This initiative is dedicated to the holistic development of young athletes, focusing on both their athletic skills and personal growth. Our experienced coaches create a supportive and inclusive environment that caters to children from kindergarten through 6th grade, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to thrive, regardless of their skill level. Hello FB friends, we are running 4 weeks of summer baseball and softball camp this year. Two weeks at the conclusion of school and two weeks in August. Each Wednesday, Kona Ice will visit our camp to offer a cool and refreshing Kona treat. This is our 24th year of camp and we are just as excited to teach the game and have fun through developmentally appropriate skills, drills and games. Hello Baseball and Softball Families,

Our annual practice and play program is back for another exciting year of fun and player development!!!

Players will focus on all components of baseball and softball for half the session and conclude with modified and developmentally appropriate games that are divided into age and skill levels.

Registration for this program has historically filled quickly and it is advised that you register early because once these sessions fill up, a wait list will form.

Practice & Play is an indoor baseball and softball program for boys and girls in grades K-6th.

This particular program will consist of four sessions on Tuesdays from 5:30 pm—6:25 pm and there are four blocks of 4 sessions being offered.

Sessions and dates: Tuesdays

Session 1: 10/25, 11/1, 11/8, 11/15
Session 2: 11/29, 12/6, 12/13, 12/20
Session 3: 1/3, 1/110, 1/17, 1/24
Session 4: 1/31, 2/7, 2/14, 2/21

During the sessions, players receive small group instruction from Coach Wexler (Varsity Assistant Baseball Coach at Brighton High School and 16u Vipers softball coach) and Coach Wasserman (JV Baseball Coach at Pittsford Mendon) and other expert staff. The program incorporates all skills of baseball and softball including lead up skills & drills and game strategy. Each session concludes with instructional game play.

The Baseball and Softball Academy will engage in safe COVID practices throughout our clinics. We have reduced our maximum capacity and will incorporate CDC guidelines as they change throughout the seasons. The sessions will be held at The Rochester Sports Garden at 1460 East Henrietta Road.

Space is limited to 30 participants.
