HAC Athletics

The Allendale Columbia School and The Harley School maintain a joint athletic program to offer the best possible athletic options for their student-athletes.

By combining student bodies and resources, as well as faculty for coaching purposes, both schools can offer a dynamic sports program that fully supports the physical, mental, and social development of each participant. By providing a variety of team sports experiences, the HAC athletic program helps students learn teamwork, sportsmanship, and good citizenship while establishing good habits that pr

epare them for the future. Our student athletes experience kinship and competition, while learning to win and lose gracefully. They also develop positive values and time management skills that will benefit them for life.

STATE BOUND! 🎟️🔥

Huge congratulations to our THREE Section V Class C State Qualifiers who officially punched their tickets to the NYSPHSAA State Championships! Facing brutal winds and scorching heat at Cal-Mum today, these student-athletes grit it out and earned their spot on the biggest stage in New York State:

💔 SCHOOL RECORD ALERTL! 📢
A massive shoutout to Katie Chapados, who absolutely flew in the 400m Hurdles. She shattered her own school record by a full second, finishing in a spectacular 1:05.63 to place 2nd, just missing a state qualifying bid by just 0.1 seconds. A truly gutty performance.

We are incredibly proud of every single Wolf who stepped onto the track and field today. Competing against the absolute best in the region under windy and hot weather conditions, the Wolves showed amazing determination.

Huge congratulations and good luck to Connor Stern as he heads off to the New York State Public High School Athletic Association Boys Tennis State Championship Tournament! 🎾✨

Connor is representing HAC and Section V as one of only 32 elite singles players from across the state competing for a state title this weekend. To play on the legendary courts of the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center - the home of the US Open - is a tremendous accomplishment!

Huge congratulations to the varsity girls team, who are officially your 2026 Section V Class C3 Champions! 🎉

Both the girls and the boys teams delivered tremendous performances across the board, with several athletes winning individual events and performing at the highest level!

📊 The Team Breakdown:

The Girls Team captured the championship banner behind a dominant, total team effort - amassing an incredible 118 points out of 13 teams! 🥇

The Boys Team put on a fantastic showcase, taking 5th place overall out of 14 teams with 48 total points! 💪
