MedCity Roller Derby

MedCity Roller Derby Founded in 2012, MedCity Mafia Roller Derby became an official WFTDA member league in 2015.

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, MMRD’s mission is to build a solid, enduring roller derby team of skilled, passionate, and dedicated women. MMRD’s goal is to share their love of the sport through family-friendly bouts and community involvement, while spreading their team values of clean competition, synergistic teamwork, and positive role modeling—always striving to exemplify high standard

A little rain never stopped roller derby! Info Night is ON!

Tonight is our last information night to find out more about MedCity Roller Derby and what is involved to join our sport in Rochester!
We will have a demo of our skaters in a jam, show some of the skills you will learn, and go over gear. You will have time to try on our skates and safety gear, then take a lap or two on The Garden's outdoor roller rink.
Can't make the info night but want to do New Recruit Training?! No problem! Send us a message or send an email to [email protected] and we can set up a Zoom meeting or meet up in person to go over your questions and the details.
This is for skaters who want to play roller derby and for skaters that want to become referees!
