Last night we had a special class to honor the 250’th year of the founding of the USA. 250 kicks, 1776 seconds (about 30 Minutes) of Kanku Sho. Also, another 7 minutes of extra stretching to commemorate my birthday (7/7). Enjoyed the night of training and teaching.

Hello all, we have Shotokan classes via Zoom on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 pm est and Saturday mornings at 10am EST. If you’re interested, PM me and we can get you in. Classes tend to be purple belt to Godan level depending on the day. Here’s a taste of our last class. We did all the Heian/Tekki/Bassai Dai, some striking drills and Sochin.

Last Saturday class yesterday we did a "choose your own adventure “ day. Every student got to choose the topic they wanted to work on for 10 minutes. The topics were Shodan Kihon, Heian Yondan side snap/back fist improvement, kicking drills, Tekki Shodan, Nijushiho, Sochin and Tensho. Really enjoy teaching this type of class.
