Rising Stars Sports and Day Camp Rochester, NY area sports & day camp at Buckland Park in Brighton. Campers (boys & girls ages 6–13). Old school camp, sports, playground games, and much more.

All sports, All play, All day!! Camp runs M-F, 9:00-3:00 In an era in which the 3 sport athlete is becoming a memory of the past, Rising Stars Sports and Day Camp provides an athletic and camp outlet for those that not only enjoy sports but also enjoy playground games and a complete summer camp experience. Coaches Casey Shapiro and Stephen Lawrence have combined to coach varsity, junior varsity, modified and youth sports for over 50 years in the Rochester Area. Their extensive experience coaching basketball, soccer, baseball, lacrosse and golf have fortified their desire to create a camp experience that celebrates the well-rounded athlete and child. We truly believe that kids should have time to just be kids, and that is what we try to offer. Campers (boys and girls ages 6 – 13) will have a variety of sports and activities to choose from each and every day at Buckland Park in Brighton. Each camper will be encouraged to build upon current skills in sports and games that they love and they will also be encouraged to try out new sports and new activities and to develop new passions and skills. Campers will participate in a variety of sports, playground games, arts and crafts and other fun activities that may include but are not limited to: basketball, soccer, baseball, 4 square, volleyball, capture the flag, flag football, golf, lacrosse, hockey, tag, obstacle courses, boondoggle, Ships and Sailors and much more. Each camper will receive a free camp shirt each session.

They just play, for 6 hours, they just play. Buckland park is just a giant playground for all that they want to do. Sandlot baseball, 4 Square, 4 Square Volleyball, Capture the Flag, Nok Hockey, Gaga, pinnie tag, and roof ball just roll on and on. There may be a couple pop up hair salons throughout the day, but without the pics, it didn’t happen.
