It's October which means our favorite fall tournament is right around the corner....kinda. Given the current situation (*cough cough* a global pandemic) we are not able to hold Danse Macabre like we normally would. Unfortunately, this means that the actual gameplay will only occur with RIT students. Buutttt it doesn't mean we can't sell you guys come sick merch! Shirts can be white, black, gray, or blue and come in mens and womens sizes S-2XL. This year we will be using an RIT alum to print all merch and some of the proceeds will directly support the Spuds and Yams.

The gameplay will be held on October 31st (spooooky) and while it would be rad to have discs and merch by that day, we're cutting it a bit close. As such, we'll be in touch via the email you provide below with info on when you can expect to pick up your purchases and how we will be conducting payment, so stay tuned! If you want us to mail it to you, we'll add that to the cost.

We know this isn't how it normally happens but I guess now's the time to try something new. Your support means so much to the team and we hope to really see you next year at Danse Macabre XXIIII.

Last week, RIT Spud and Yam players finished up a collaboration to create an educational video on USAU hand signals! It was a lot of fun putting this resource together for making communication clearer and more inclusive on the field and the sidelines.

To wrap up player week, say hello to sophomore Anna Kasper ( #14)! A biology major with a minor in psychology, AK is the team’s social media manager (yes, it is I speaking in the third person) and has been playing frisbee for over 3 years.

AK’s favorite part of playing frisbee is getting into the zone and achieving great disc flow between her and her team! Her top tip for getting involved with frisbee? No matter what level you’re at, there’s always room to grow. 🌱➡️🌳
