A story on this day in 2012:

How to have an interesting night:
Turn onto your street around 10 only to see flashing lights and a blocked road. Your neighbor comes out to tell you all the power lines are down and destroyed, and you can't get to your house. Walk through yards to get there, only to be greeted by roommates frantically bailing out your basement because water is pouring in through the sump pump. Run up and down stairs with buckets, trashcans, and pots of water to get it out. Not have power until God knows when. Play games by candlelight. Landlord comes and fixes the water...but still a wrecked street and lines.
TL;DR Hazel Manor had a wet and wild night.
