NAMLA may have cancelled the season, but there are still opportunities left this year to play! NAMLA is hosting a series of tournaments for all of the age groups.

We will be entering this tournament for the Tyke, Bantam, Midget and Intermediate levels. We are charging $60 for the event and this will include a uniform as part of this cost.

As a reminder NAMLA age groups are based on BIRTH year and NOT graduation year.

Intermediate: NAMLA is still working out the facility for the Intermediate tournament. We will send another update when this tournament is announced.

We are heartbroken to share that the president of the First Nations Lacrosse Association (FNLA), Brian "Lab" Phillips, passed away suddenly yesterday. Can-Am, the league that the River Monsters play in, is part of FNLA.

Lab gave a large part of his life to lacrosse and has had a profound impact on lacrosse in Western NY both with the leagues but especially with the Onondaga Redhawks.

Lab, you were a true friend to our team and an immense help as we got started. We will miss you.

Today the CAN AM Lacrosse Association announced that under the current circumstances and due to the ongoing concerns of Covid-19, that operations are ceased for the summer of the 2021 season.

Although we are saddened by the news we also know the challenges having a season this summer poses and respect the decision of the teams and the leadership of CAN-AM.

Please know that we will be back for the 2022 season with a lot of great upgrades for our players and fans.
