Tonight was a strong and, most importantly, a clean night for me. I started practice in P13, qualified 9th, and finished P11 out of 28 cars.

Thank you to Veterans Roofing WA, and thank you to Shane Sawin for giving me a fast race car this weekend. I’d also like to thank all of my supporters and sponsors, as well as everyone who came out to watch today.

Yesterday was an eventful race, to say the least, and I just can’t seem to get away from bad luck. I started the race in P11 and managed to fight my way up to P6 after avoiding wrecks and passing cars. I worked my way into the top four, and that’s when the bad luck hit.

A wreck involving the P2 and P3 cars happened right in front of me, and I swerved as hard as I could, which sent me off the embankment and onto the 5/8-mile track, where I was hit by another car.

It sucks because this isn’t how I like to end race days, but I guess that’s just part of racing. We’re going to get the car fixed today and try to make it back out for the race.

A huge thank you to Shane Sawin for all of your help this weekend, and thank you to Veterans Roofing WA for all of your support, along with all of my other sponsors and supporters.

I’ll see everyone out there for Day 3 of racing!

We are done racing for the night, and unfortunately, it didn’t go the way we had hoped.

We started the day off strong in both practice sessions, and I ran my fastest laps ever at Evergreen Speedway. I qualified 7th, started on the pole in my heat race, and brought it home in 4th.

We rolled off 4th for the main event feeling confident. Early in the race, I got spun out, but I was able to save the car and regain my position. I ran strong for a while before getting freight-trained and falling back to 7th. I settled in and was running solid until a caution came out.

On the restart, I was battling for 6th when I got a little too low and clipped the rumble strips, which caused me to spin. Unfortunately, another car got collected, and although my car initially had no damage, the car behind me ramped over mine and ended up in the grass. Needless to say, this one was on me. I took home a 7th place finish after making it through the field one more time.

I’ll learn from every race, and this is another lesson that will make me a better driver. We’ll get the car repaired—it needs a new body—and we’ll do everything we can to have it ready for the CARS Tour West Summer Showdown at Evergreen Speedway.

A huge thank you to Veterans Roofing WA and Shane Sawin for all of the help today, and thank you to all of my sponsors for your continued support. We’ll be back stronger.

After an amazing day watching the Seahawks training camp and an amazing weekend of racing, here’s the race recap from last night!

We started off with a new setup in practice, but I didn’t get to go out for the first session. As I was entering the track, I felt a vibration that forced me to pull off. We figured out the problem, and I went out for Practice 2. The car ran well, but I still had a few complaints. We made our adjustments and headed out for qualifying.

I qualified P7. I rolled off P3 in my heat race and came away with the win, finishing P1 🏁. We felt like the car was fast, so we headed into the main event with confidence.

I battled hard throughout the race and even worked my way onto the podium for a while. Eventually, a few faster cars got by me, and I finished P5. I’m really happy with the result, especially being able to run with the lead pack.

A huge thank you to Shane Sawin for all of the help over the past few races, Veterans Roofing WA for your continued support, Marissa Sawin for the compliments after the race. Thank you as well to everyone who came out and supported us!

I’ll see everyone at the next race!!!
