Just remember, a lot of our oldest vets right now were labeled as the enemy and never properly thanked for putting their life on the line so some of us could be born. So why don't you take the time out of the day and reach out to an older veteran and thank him for what he has done, what he has seen, and where he has been! You might be surprised by the reaction you get! A HUGE thank you to all of those that have served and that continue to do so, I wouldn't be so fortunate with out your sacrifices for this country!!! Thank you!!!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Well we are back from a fun weekend in Center Point, Iowa! Wanted to get more pics, but it was a fairly busy weekend. 1st I would like to say congratulations to anyone that heard their name this weekend, great job to everyone, even if you didn't hear your name, great job, it felt like a tough comp!!! Performance wise, we didn't exactly do how we wanted to. Tried a new method for chicken, scored good enough to try again I feel. Ribs and pork didn't score very well either, but I will say, there was some good competition there too because we didn't exactly scored terrible on those either. BUT for brisket...we took 1st place with a perfect 180 (yes I used the honey😉)!!!! 🥳🤯😎 All and all it was yet another GREAT weekend, with even better people, and we had blast!!! We would like to give a huge thanks to Rubies Bar and all involved for hosting us and this great event! A huge shout out to all the teams that came over and chatted with us and made us feel more than welcomed!! And last but not least a giant shout out to Scott at 3-zero-1 Boys BBQ Supply for always helping supply us with everything we need!! And another giant shout out at Zeedle's Spicy Honey for having an amazing local product, that is obviously absolutely fantastic!!! Hope to see all our new friends at some future comps!!!

Some pictures of our great weekend BBQ adventure we had in Eureka! Day 1 we took 14th ribs out of 19 or 20, and that event included pro teams. Day 2 we took 5th place ribs, 6th place chicken, and 6th overall out of 9 teams. All in all it was a fun time and a great learning experience! Big congratulations to anyone that heard their name over the weekend, great job guys and gals!!! Good luck to all competing today!!! Thanks to Scott at 3-zero-1 Boys BBQ Supply for being right down the road with all of our BBQ needs! A thanks to Paul at SmokinGhost BBQ for the awesome rub in our goody bags and an even bigger thanks for our hats later on!!! Another huge thanks goes out to Jealous Devil for the charcoal donation to all of the competing teams, you guys rock!!!
