We’d love to have you in the gym. Some of you will take this on in the garage or on your own. Either way, we’re coaching it.

All month we’re breaking down the movements.
Set-up. Ex*****on. Common faults. Corrections. Scaling.

Today: The Air Squat

SET-UP
* Feet shoulder-width apart
* Toes slightly turned out
* Weight in the heels
* Chest up, eyes forward
* Spine neutral, core braced

EX*****ON
* Initiate with hips back and down
* Knees track over toes
* Descend until hip crease passes below the knee
* Drive through the heels to stand
* Full hip and knee extension at the top

This movement shows up everywhere.
Getting out of a chair. Sitting on the toilet. Living your life.

Do it well here so it holds up in life.

It doesn’t care if you came in tired.
It doesn’t care if life feels heavy.
It doesn’t care whether you’re confident or full of doubt.

The weight is the weight.
The standard is the standard.

That’s what makes it honest.
It doesn’t bend to emotion. It exposes excuses and builds discipline.

In a world that bends to feelings, the barbell does not.

And maybe that’s why it teaches something deeper. Feelings lie, but Truth stands.
