3rd Place at the St. Anthony Invitational!

What a great day on Saturday for Lady Maroons Tennis! We finished 3rd overall out of 16 teams at the St. Anthony Invitational.

Alex Leek had an outstanding day at #3 Singles, going 4-0 and winning her flight championship!

Addy & Avery Strauch — 4th Place, #1 Doubles
Piper Bonnell & Avery Ackman — 4th Place, #2 Doubles

Avery Crocker also picked up a win at #1 Singles, while Kate Rosborough battled throughout the day at #2 Singles, including a close tiebreaker match.

Proud of the way our girls competed all day against a strong field. A flight championship, two doubles teams in the top four, and a 3rd-place team finish made for a great day for Robinson Tennis!

Great 7–4 win over Casey-Westfield in our first head-to-head match of the season!

We had singles wins from #2 Kate Rosborough, #3 Avery Strauch, #5 Avery Ackman, #6 Addy Strauch, and #7 Alivia Murphy.

In doubles, #1 Addy and Avery Strauch and #2 Avery Ackman and Piper Bonnell both earned wins.

First official practice begins tomorrow! This week, due to heat, we’ll practice later in the evening from 7-8:30PM. Friday, we’ll practice from 8-9:30AM due to Meet the Maroons.

No weights on Monday July 20th or Tuesday July 21st for GIRLS WEIGHTS ONLY. They will lift on Wednesday July 22nd and Thursday July 23rd. Boys weights will stay the same. Keep up the great work! Hope to see everyone there!
