Every range starts with the same questions: permits, timeline, width, targets, and cost. These are some of the answers we give when discussing a dream ranges.

This is the part people picture when they imagine their range... but it’s the last 10% of the work.

Build it right from day one and the steel is the easy part.

When you’re buying one or two systems, shipping cost can make or break the purchase. So everything we ship direct-to-consumer is packaged and engineered for peak efficiency. The downside is that there’s assembly required when you unbox it, but it saves you a ton of money.

At scale, when somebody is ordering 50, 100, 200 thousand dollars in steel that ends up on skids, we know that much steel is going to burn a ton of overhead on site if it shows up unassembled. So on orders like that we take the time to pre-assemble as much as possible.

It comes built into the Iron Clad and Meridian packages, and we extend it to you. And when we’re out installing in the field, the hours we save come back to you as coaching.

We’ve made cardboard targets for years, and we still love them. But every one of them ends up in the trash after a range day.

So we built V-FLEX. It’s cut from the same legacy rubber we use in our bullet traps. It comes in two sizes, the full C-Zone and the Hybrid Reduced C-Zone, and both ship with two of our plastic target clamps. Every V-FLEX is backed by a 3-year warranty.

Quick note: V-FLEX doesn’t stop rounds. Run it in front of a berm or bullet trap, and stick to ball/FMJ (buckshot or birdshot for shotgun).

The Phoenix is like a super or hyper car, but you can actually service it. In a world where “right to repair” is threatened, we make products that are high performance yet easy to service if that time ever comes.

The Phoenix is no exception. While others weld their assemblies (making repairs impossible), we built a system that EVERY component can be replaced easily.

This range got a few Gen 3.1 Phoenixs that include six 8″ AR550 paddles on adjustable armored posts, a pulley assembly that sits below the line of fire, and rubber bumpers that protect a falling paddle.

This isn’t a hobby plate rack. This is a legacy system built to serve you, no matter the volume of fire your range experiences.

Build it right from day one. Build it with legacy in mind.

You bought a legacy property. Now you’re wondering what kind of range it can hold.

Legacy builders are the third group we see reach out to us. Most of them worked for decades, saying no to a lot of small things so they could say yes to one big one. Their properties run from around 100 acres to several thousand, and none of them were bought just for the asset. They were bought for what they give the family and the people they love.

That’s why the range has to fit the land. It should add to the story the property already tells, not take away from it. We start at the very beginning, figuring out what you can and can’t do, and carry it all the way to a range you’re proud to step onto every single time, one that will still serve the people you love 30, 40, 50+ years from now.

Build the range the same way you built everything else.

We started with the Curious, the people who want a range but don’t own land yet, and then the Dreamers, who own the land and are building toward a range strategically. This one is for the Builders.

Your life was lived with a clear, powerful vision. You pursued what few will pursue, and stewardship runs through all of it: your family, your business, and the property you landed on. That land was never about financial gain. It was about freedom, peace, and the people you love, and now you want to build something on it worthy of passing down.

That’s the new challenge: a range worthy of the land you worked so hard for. Most of the build goes to planning, permits, and coordinating contractors, and that’s where builds fall apart. That’s where we come in. We capture your vision and come beside you, so the range complements the property and adds value. The money isn’t the focus. Building it right from day one is, so you’re proud to step onto it every single time.

“Is 10 acres enough for a real range?” Fair question, and one we get from a lot of landowners.

Size and terrain decide how big your range gets. Small properties can house true legacy ranges as long as you build in the right order, and that order starts with zoning. Before you clear a tree or move a single load of dirt, find out what your land is entitled to.

Last time we talked to the Curious, the people who want a range but don’t own land yet. This one is for the Dreamers. You own the land, and you could build a range on it. It’s just not a fast move. It’s strategic, disciplined, and structured.

It’s easy to compare your land to bigger properties and decide yours doesn’t count. It does. Size and terrain dictate how big a range gets, not the quality, and 10 acres can still land you a nice range when it’s built right from day one.

The one downside of already owning land is zoning. If you didn’t do the research before you bought, now is the time to dig deep. Before a single dollar goes to excavation or clearing, find out what your land is entitled to. That’s where we come in. We run your property through our software to show you the potential challenges and the clear pathways.

Part of stewarding land is doing the prep work, and the process is what protects your investment.
