Praying for you Cami ♥️
THE FIGHT IS NOT OVER AND NEITHER IS OUR FAITH
Today, we have an update on our girl, and it's a hard one.
Cami finally got her test results yesterday and was told that her liver has been replaced with cancerous tissue, but it is still functioning properly, which is a miracle (and we'll take all of those we can get). 🙌
Her tumor testing showed that the cancer is responsive to different treatments. Now, the goal is to start those treatments as soon as possible. She is weighing her options between the treatment facility in Mexico or the facility in Tampa. Both will start with a 20-30% chemotherapy approach and then attack this cancer with the treatments her tumors have shown a response to.
And Cami has made her decision.
She's fighting. She doesn't want to know the odds. She doesn't want to know what someone thinks her chances are. She knows what God can do.
She told us this morning - "We are not moved by what we see or feel. I'm focused on what I know God can and wants to do for me."
So, Warriors, we need you to stand with her.
PRAY. Pray for wisdom as she chooses where to begin treatment. Pray that God would guide every doctor, every treatment, every decision. Pray for her body to respond. Pray for strength. And above all, pray boldly for the miracle we are all believing God will provide.
We are also asking that you GIVE.
This fight won't be cheap. We know so many of you have already given, prayed, shared, fundraised and stood beside Cami and her family through this journey. They are forever grateful for every single bit of love and support you've shown them.
But we also know that as time goes on, the urgency can fade and thing can slow down. The fundraisers haven't been as frequent lately, and that's okay. We're working on getting those ramped back up. So, stay tuned.
Don't let your support for Cami slow down. She is facing the biggest fight of her life, and the financial burden of the treatment ahead will be significant. She is incredibly worried about the finances, but as we told her today, that is our burden to bare, not hers. If you are able, please keep giving. Every dollar matters. Every share matters. Every fundraiser matters.
Cami hasn't given up. So neither can we.
Let's keep showing her that she's not fighting this fight alone. 💙
