πŸ• BITE & BUCK IV β€” THAT'S A WRAP.

A couple weeks later and we're still incredibly proud of what took place at Bite & Buck IV.

Events like this don't happen because of one person, one organization, or one weekend of work. They happen because a group of people comes together, buys into the mission, and is willing to put in the time and effort to create something special.

First, a huge thank you to Big Sky Brewery for once again providing an incredible venue and giving us the opportunity to showcase protection sports in such a unique environment.

To our primary sponsor, Montana Knife Company, and all of the businesses and people who supported this year's event β€” Dewey Cheatum & Howe (Gary and Nancy Zadick), EquipmentShare, Gun Dog Supply, Modern Icon, E-Collar Technologies, Supreme K9, Jackson Creek K9, and Inukshuk Professional Dog Food β€” THANK YOU.

Your support is what allows us to continue building this event, bring some of the very best judges and decoys from across the United States and Canada to Montana, and provide competitors with the type of trial experience we believe this sport deserves.

To our judges and decoys β€” thank you for your professionalism, knowledge, long days, and commitment to the dogs and competitors. The quality of an event is directly tied to the people entrusted with the work, and we were fortunate to have an incredible group.

To every competitor who stepped onto the field β€” thank you. Thank you for traveling, training, trusting your dogs, supporting one another, and putting your work on display. You are the reason these events exist.

And finally, to the Dirty Bandana crew and every volunteer behind the scenes β€” this is what team effort looks like.

There are countless hours, early mornings, late nights, problems solved, equipment moved, fields built, schedules adjusted, and jobs completed that most people will never see. What makes it all possible is the culture of the people doing the work.

No egos.
Support the person next to you.
Celebrate good dogs and good training.
Make the K9 community better than we found it.

STRONG CULTURE. STRONG DOGS.

Bite & Buck IV was another incredible chapter, but we're far from finished.

Stay tuned. We're already looking ahead and working on more opportunities to support, challenge, and bring together the K9 world in the year ahead.

We'll see you on the field. πŸ€˜πŸ•

Another huge thank you to another gear sponsor for Bandana Fest 2026, !!! Their generosity will pay huge dividends for our decoy team this year and is greatly appreciated. Josh creates and distributes some of the best gear in the game and we are fortunate to have some fresh equipment to work dogs with during the event.

For anyone looking to improve or acquire new equipment, please consider Kirby K9 for all of your needs.
