We LOVE Dajio Restaurant on Ocracoke!
We try to make the trek down from Nags Head for dinner each year, but didn't make it last year.

So this was Sabrina Grace's first ferry ride and Dajio dinner! She and Ellie Mae give the chicken tenders and water bowls 4 paws up! (Handler greatly enjoyed Tuna Tostada and Key Lime Pie!)

Thanks for the dog friendly patio (especially the tower fans for our old lady!), great food and great service! So glad we stumbled across this place years ago!

Just had our monthly visit to VCA Garden State Animal Hospital and learned that our favorite orange boy clinic cat Tommy passed awhile ago 😿 we didn't always see him every visit, but asked about him today and found out.

Hope there are lots of fish to watch and counters to lay on at the bridge, buddy!

Two Years

Two years since that last look of love and trust, but it still burns as if it happened today.

A million lifetimes wouldn't have been enough, but I am beyond grateful for the over 14 years we had together.

You changed my life in ways I never could have imagined.

On Saturday, we headed down to Sunshine Diving Dogs for the 2026 Delmarva DockDogs annual club picnic.

We had a great time! Got to hang out with some good friends and got LOTS of dock time! Plus an amazing potluck lunch!

💜 Old lady laps, as always! Plus some swimming with her sister. AND we celebrated Ellie's 13th birthday! I made a no-frills peanut butter and banana pupcake, we sang and all the dogs got to have some cake! Thank you to everyone for loving her!

💖 Sabrina got to do more work on her sit/stay... had some catches, wore the gopro for the first time and swam with her sister and her boyfriend, Cooper! She also showed everyone her big kid, big mad voice when I went towards the dock without her 🤣

Ellie Mae spent her birthday eve yesterday tagging along to dock rental with her baby sister and friends! She got in lots of old lady laps!

This coming weekend, she'll come along to our dock club picnic!

We are sadly behind on dog birthday parties 🫣 its tough finding a time when everyone is free!
