In this video, I tear down and rebuild my 5th gen Camaro SS 1LE with a fresh 416 stroker LS3 setup — and take it out for the first drive.

This build is designed for serious street and track performance, using high-quality components throughout the entire rotating assembly and valvetrain.

Engine Build Specs:
Texas Speed & Performance camshaft (Stroker Stage 1 N/A)
Texas Speed & Performance cylinder heads (Brawler LS3 CNC Ported heads)
Johnson 2110R short travel race lifters
Eagle forged crankshaft
Eagle forged connecting rods
Mahle forged alloy pistons
Cometic MLS head gaskets
Melling high volume oil pump
Monster S Series twin disc clutch

We have learned a few things over the years about how to maximize performance with our 2003 New Edge Mustang 351w 5.8L V8 swapped drift car. WE LOVE OUR HOLLEY SNIPER EFI KIT! Way better than traditional carburetor. the first generation of this product we found to be sensitive to electromagnetic interference. All we needed to do was shield the low voltage components from the high voltage alternator and ignition coils.
