🏀 Hit the Hardwood: 2026–2027 Winter Youth Basketball Leagues @ the Garver Memorial YMCA! 🏀

Coaches and team organizers, it’s time to get your squads together! Registration is officially open for our upcoming Winter Basketball Leagues.

Divisions & Game Days
4th Grade Boys: Saturday & Sunday afternoons
5th/6th Grade Boys: Tuesday evenings & Saturday/Sunday afternoons/evenings
4th/5th Grade Girls: Thursday & Friday evenings
6th Grade Girls: Thursday & Friday evenings

League Details & DeadlinesTip-Off: League play begins the week of December 7th

Eligibility: School teams ONLY (all players must attend school within the same school district)
Entry Fee: $400 per team (checks payable to Garver YMCA) Registration Deadline: November 23rd (Team registration, completed roster, and payment must be submitted together to secure your spot)
Scheduling: Game schedules will be emailed out one week prior to the first game. (Please indicate any scheduling conflicts during registration; we will do our best to accommodate!)

🏐 Bump, Set, Spike! Introducing NEW Biddy Volleyball at the Garver Memorial YMCA! 🏐✨

We are thrilled to launch our brand-new Biddy Volleyball Program for young athletes ages 4 to 8! Led by the Central H.S. Girls Volleyball Coach and players, this introductory program focuses on teamwork, basic skills, and tons of fun on the court.

Even better news: this is our very first program with seamless online registration through our brand-new Reclique CORE system! Signing up your child has never been easier.

📋 Program Details:
Ages: 4 – 8 years old
Dates: Thursdays, November 5th – December 3rd, 2026 (No practice November 26th for Thanksgiving)
Time: 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM

We are honored to welcome two distinguished members of the local and federal judiciary as our guest speakers:
Judge Jolene Kopriva – Former President Judge of the Blair County Court of Common Pleas and pioneering local jurist.
Judge D. Brooks Smith – Longtime Blair County resident and Senior Federal Judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

Key Discussion Topics:
The Constitution as the foundational framework for government power and action.
The three branches of government and their intended balance of power.
Civic duties and constitutional rights.
