Join us in celebrating our LUGAR!!!!! She is our September Member of the Month!!!

Lugar joined roller derby in 2014, skating with the Star City Roller Girls for years and then took a break to raise a family. She made her comeback in 2023 with TVRD and we are sure glad she did!
She skates under her own last name because coming back to the team was very personal: Lugar wanted to push herself and use her strength and her body for herself. Lugar says what keeps her on skates is the community. "You can't find better people or a safer space than roller derby. This group of people has my heart, and we get to hit each other for fun."
Outside of roller derby, find her working on DIY projects, specifically construction and woodworking, and is currently building her own canoe. She also loves lifting weights and reading, and we love her! Congrats Lugar!
