Today, June 3rd, the whole world is celebrating the humble bicycle. But at WeeWheel Roanoke, we know it’s so much more than just two wheels and a chain—it is a child’s very first passport to independence.
Learning to ride a bike builds the kind of resilience, grit, and joy that changes how a kid sees the world. Suddenly, the neighborhood gets bigger, the Greenway becomes an adventure map, and "I can't" permanently turns into "Watch this!" 🚀
To all the parents, guardians, and caretakers who spend their weekends running alongside our riders, cheering through the wobbles, and celebrating the breakthroughs: thank you for giving them the gift of flight. 👏👏

Trying to decide (settle an argument 😂) which color looks better. Someone likes the pink. Someone else likes the orange.
We added Cardinal Bicycle and Roanoke Mountain Adventures to our jerseys this go around in an attempt to show some love to those that have graciously helped us get WeeWheel Roanoke going. Let the positive comments and voting begin.

Big news, Roanoke families! Because our Spring sessions have been filling up so fast, WeeWheel Roanoke is officially adding new days and times to our schedule!

Whether you are parents, grandparents, guardians, or caretakers, we know how busy life in the Star City can get. We’ve added these extra slots to make it even easier for your little riders (ages 4–12) to join the WeeWheel Roanoke crew, ditch the training wheels, and build that unstoppable confidence.

What’s New:

Learn to Ride at Cardinal Bicycleon Grandin Road

📍 Wednesdays starting April 29th - 5:30 pm
📍 Saturdays starting May 2nd - 8 am
📍 Thursdays starting May 14th - 6 pm

Beginner Pedals at Vic Thomas Park

📍 Mondays - 5:30 pm
📍 Wednesdays - 6:30 pm
📍 Saturdays - 9 am
