All jokes aside, our advice for the Aspen Total Fitness family is simple: Enjoy the journey.

Fitness shouldn't mean hiding in a cave and eating dry chicken and rice 24/7. You work incredibly hard inside these walls. If you want to celebrate a heavy PR or a brutal leg day with a treat every now and then, do it completely guilt-free. One donut won't ruin your progress any more than one workout will make you instantly shredded.

The ATF Rules for Balance:

The 80/20 Mindset: Focus on hitting your real protein targets and eating whole foods 80% of the time. Let the other 20% be for enjoying life.

Don't Skip the Real Fuel: If you are going to indulge in some 'accidental protein' (aka a donut), just make sure you still smash a real protein shake afterward so your muscles actually have what they need to rebuild.
