Thank you again to everyone that reached out to help get this replaced so quickly!

An air conditioning unit was replaced with community support, which seemed like a setback for the Roanoke Rapids Youth Baseball Association after the prior unit was stolen.

We are frustrated to share that sometime recently, the air conditioning unit was stolen out of the umpire shed behind Allen Field.

The RRYBA is a 100% volunteer-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Every dollar we have comes from the generosity of our sponsors, donors, fundraising efforts, and the families who support our league.

When theft or vandalism occurs, it doesn't just damage property—it takes away resources that could have been used to improve our fields, purchase equipment, keep registration affordable, and provide a better experience for the hundreds of kids who play in our leagues each year.

Although situations like this are disheartening, we know the overwhelming majority of our community supports what we're trying to accomplish, and we are grateful for every volunteer, sponsor, coach, parent, and fan who helps make RRYBA possible!
