"Kyokushin Karate Demonstration at RELAY FOR LIFE event in Roanoke Rapids on Friday"

Sensei Kenny Buffaloe and Senpai Christian Buffaloe, local Kyokushin Karate instructors in Roanoke Rapids & students, will do a "Kyokushin Karate Demonstration" as part of the RELAY FOR LIFE event at the Kirkwood Adams Community Center on Friday, June 12th at 7:30pm. Together with Roanoke Rapids area students, there will be several action packed demonstrations of Kyokushin, Japan's No. #1 Karate style. This is their first demonstration in Roanoke Rapids since 2010.

Sensei Kenny Buffaloe and Senpai Christian Buffaloe were recently featured on C.B.S. TV News.

Sensei Kenny Buffaloe and Senpai Christian Buffaloe, Kyokushin Karate instructors in Roanoke Rapids, Murfreesboro, and Clarksville, Virginia were recently featured on C.B.S. TV News.

The segment focused on Sensei Kenny Buffaloe training Senpai Christian Buffaloe to win International Kyokushin Karate championships on 9 occasions since 2008. Christian Buffaloe is the 2020 & 2023 Kyokushin Karate United States men's champion. He has also represented the USA and North Carolina in 2 Kyokushin Karate World Open Championships in 2019 & 2023.

The news story also showed Sensei Buffaloe and Senpai Christian teaching students in North Carolina and southside Virginia.

"Local Kyokushin Karate Instructors Featured on N.B.C. TV"

Kenny Buffaloe and Christian Buffaloe, local Kyokushin Karate Instructors, will be featured on N.B.C. TV 17 on Wednesday, April 8th on the 6 & 11 O'clock news. The segment will focus on their careers as Kyokushin Karate instructors in northeastern North Carolina and southside Virginia.
They will be interviewed as well as showing training scenes from their classes in Roanoke Rapids featuring the talents and abilities of their local students.

Kenny Buffaloe, the official North Carolina Representative of Kyokushin Karate, and Christian Buffaloe were the subject of a hit documentary movie called "FIGHTING SPIRIT" in 2015. It focused on their unique relationship as father/son and teacher/student and Christian Buffaloe's rise to becoming an international Kyokushin Karate champion fighter. The movie is now in the state archives in Raleigh.

Several area students in Kenny Buffaloe’s Kyokushin Karate Class at Studio 10 in Roanoke Rapids were recently promoted in rank.

We had a great time in our youth Kyokushin Karate training class tonight in Roanoke Rapids! The kids really enjoyed the partner drills and the opportunity to wear their Halloween costumes. It didnt hurt that there were treats to add to their candy stashes for later. 😉
