I did finally get me hands on Rowdy yesterday evening. Rowdy has always been very elusive to me, so judging his rack has been difficult. I did a quick score , and was totally shocked. He is much bigger, taller and heavier than I ever expected. Last year at 1 yr old he scored 127". I had estimated him at about 180" this year. He totaled in at 202" @ 2 yrs old this year.

I'm sure there aren't many, if any, typical 2 yr old piebalds that score ever 200 inches.

About as close to perfection as it gets. Rowdy @ 2 yrs old has really elevated his status as a piebald breeder. His offspring this year have been the most colorful we've produced in 21 years of breeding piebald genetics.

3 yearling bucks and 3, 2024 buck fawns. The 3 yearlings are pictured and all 3 are mainframe 4x4, one is perfectly clean. Our bloodlines are big bodied typicals with a little trash for character. Normal expectations are 140 to 160 at 2, 180 to 200+ at 3.

Getting quality pictures of Rowdy has been difficult. These are about as good as it gets so far.

At just 2 years old, Rowdy has quickly grown into a stunning example of a typical piebald buck. Estimated at 175" to 180". Semen was collected last year as a yearling with very good quality results.

SVW Rowdy is a product of SVW Casanova and SVW Dottie. Casanova is half brother to Bigshot. Bigshot scored 232"@4 with 33" main beams and 14" g2s. Rowdy is well on his way to meeting and passing those stats at 3 yrs old.

Shadow Valley Whitetails has been raising whitetails since 2000 and specializing in piebalds since 2003. A long line of trophy typical framed piebald whitetails is in our past. Eight generations of piebald genetics while never breeding piebald to piebald.
