Did you know that NAUI's Public Safety Diver program is available for everyone who want to work within the field? Before 2026 a prerequisite was that you would be a member of a PSD dive team in order to attend the program. Since this year it is open for anyone who have the ambition to become a PSD team member and it helps your resume if you have it already before joining a team. The NAUI PSD training is used by agencies around the world within rescue operation, customs and border patrol as well as law enforcement and UW Crime scene investigations.

Summer is in full swing, and across Europe the diving season is buzzing! 🌊☀️

From exciting Beginner Scuba Training introducing new divers to the underwater world, to challenging Technical Diver programs pushing limits with advanced skills, NAUI Europe instructors are hard at work delivering world-class education.

We're also seeing fantastic participation in Public Safety Diver (PSD) training, helping prepare professionals for demanding underwater operations, while First Aid and Emergency Response courses continue to equip divers and non-divers alike with life-saving skills that make a real difference.

Whether you're taking your very first breath underwater, expanding your technical expertise, training for public safety missions, or learning how to respond in an emergency, there's never been a better time to train.

What does the US Navy SEALs, Coast Guard and Kevin Costner have in Common?
In the United States, US Navy SEALs, Coast Guard rescue divers and other special military forces are trained to NAUI standards as part of their overall training with open and closed circuit rebreathers; the US National Parks Service and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) divers receive NAUI training and certifications.
In dozens of nations around the world, countless police, fire & rescue personnel, government officials, public and private security teams; Olympians such as 1996 Decathlon winner Dan O’Brien, actors like Kevin Costner and “Sea Hunt’s” Lloyd Bridges, even characters from movies, sports teams and live entertainment are NAUI trained and certified divers.
The very long list of NAUI members includes Olympians and professional athletes like world-class golfer Tiger Woods; world-famous actors such as China’s Mark Cheng, movie stuntmen and women, musicians and performers; well-known doctors, scientists, astronauts, aquanauts, business people and corporate leaders, politicians, statesmen, military leaders and even royalty.
NAUI members are everywhere, in every walk of life, training and certifying the best divers in the world!

Last weekend an ISO-audit of the NAUI training standards were performed, this time on Scandinavian soil. Last review was performed in Spain. Once again the NAUI Worldwide training standards were proven to excel above the ISO standards and recognized worldwide as a high training standard. NAUI instructors in Europe has proven its proficient training levels, keeping NAUI Worldwide on the global map of excellent training. Thank you to involved instructors - Kristoffer Artmark, Jonas Grabinski, Johan Ström, Mattias Ström, Tommy Makaj, Rikard Mobratt.
