Saturday , August 22.. Due to 6+ inches of rain over the past 48 hours the front 9 will be closed and thw back 9 is Cart Path Only.. We will re evaluate the course Sunday morning.

Bittersweet day here at SCGC. Having to pack up and clean 15 1/2 years of memories puts things in perspective. This was the best job ever and the cumulation of a goal I set to achieve when I arrived in Florida nearly 18 years ago. My thanks to the entire Blanchard family for supporting me, cheering me on, counseling me and especially Jason Blanchard for being a great boss giving me the freedom and encouragement to be the best employee I could be. The biggest thanks goes to my beautiful and supportive wife who has always been my biggest cheerleader and best friend. I’ll miss this place dearly, but look forward to the adventure that awaits me ahead. Please welcome the new Superintendent, Jason Owens, as he finds his own path and continues the tradition here at SCGC. Mahalo nui loa!! Hana Ho!!

Happy to report that we were able to trap and relocate our trio of raccoon bandits that were thieving items/food from golfers carts on #2. They should enjoy their new wooded home off our property.
