These are never easy. We had to say goodbye to the best girl ever today. Lily went to school and was a champion at Adam Hamilton then went on to work at the best bird hunting ranches in the country. It was her dream job until an injury forced retirement so she came to live with my family. She was literally raised in a barn and became our best friend and the best family dog we could ask for and even learned to tolerate the cat. We went on so many adventures. Today she was just a few weeks shy of turning 15. That’s about 104 in human years for anyone struggling with the math. I think she held on just as long as she did to help us through some rough days over the last year. She even fought her own cancer, twice and remained a champion. Her body just couldn’t hold up anymore but her love for us never ended. You just couldn’t love her as much as she loved you back. visiting friends know what I’m saying. She didn’t even care if your parts were carbon fiber and Ti, you would get cuddles too. You were the best Lily. Enjoy chasing birds in those bountiful fields. Go ahead and catch a few! “Alright Lily, find a bird!”

We’ve been listening to together for over 20 years now. We used to just find him on the radio driving up and down the valley highways trucking in California, before podcasts and social media. He’s been right on so much in life and a real American icon. He was so funny live and a cool dude to stand next to for a minute. Go see him if you get a chance!

Hello friend, back at it next week for next phase of chemo treatments. I’m not afraid this time as we got along just fine in the first phase and did good work together. I had a MRI last week and things are looking stable.

I don’t think I needed to tell you guys the website is taking orders again. This was just the start of a busy day of shipping. Felt good to be working! Thanks to all for the support and your patience! The boss thinks I should cut what’s left of my hair. What do you guys think? Cut the rest off or rock it? This was a pretty expensive hair do left by radiation treatments and chemo. I’ll have to shave it all soon for a fancy new electric hat that will be sending tumor treating fields though my head as the next phase of my treatments.

Bipods not for sale! I’m sad to hear about the passing of Kasey Beltz founder of B&T Industries. I never got to meet Kasey but have so much respect for the way he built and ran his business. Every transaction I had with his team over the years was perfect. I am honored to have been allowed to be a dealer even when the numbers couldn’t have made sense for them. The way he handled the things like his designs being copied and infringed on was a model for the industry and always very professional. Rest easy Kasey, the team you built will take your legacy in the right direction. Lifetime supply means something different now for me but I’m going to keep this stash and try to wear a couple out at least.
