Well done team Mikkeller Cycling LA, kicking off the year with a social ride in Riverside and Redlands.
54miles and a head wind that I wasn’t expecting.
Thanks for hosting and providing post ride food and drinks.
See you in February when we link our social ride with the Firecracker ride on the 28th. (Route and beer stop to follow soon)

Going up La Tuna Canyon the back route before dropping down the hill for a pitstop at our friends Tony’s Dart Away.
Meet at Highland Park Brewery on Spring st
Meet 8am
Rolling 8.30am
Finish approx 1pm

2000ft elevation

Stay hydrated and make sure to wear a brain bucket.

-The Mikkeller Cycling Club exists to connect cyclists wherever they are, and empower them to ride together to create friendships and memories.
-Members must familiarise themselves with the Rules of the Road to maintain safe and consistent riding etiquette, best practices and camaraderie.
-While riding with Mikkeller Cycling Club or externally but in club kit, members are representing the club and will extend their respect and courtesy to other riders, road users and the public.
-The wearing of helmets is mandatory for all club rides be it hosted by MCCLA or by other members, this extends to any ride where club kit is worn.
-Rides are organised and led by Mikkeller Cycling Club Los Angeles a network of ride leaders and members.
-For safety, members are asked to keep their bike in good working order and for most rides, to use a road bike with drop bars and use clip-in pedals and shoes. Please check with the ride organiser what bike is appropriate before the ride.

October Social Ride - This Saturday 10/25 we will be tackling Chanty Flats Climb as the weather is getting cooler.

There is a cafe/beer stop at the top.

This Saturday September 13th, is our social ride.

We will be heading on an out and back from Highland Park Brewery to PV. This is for the Rapha Women’s 100.

Meet at Highland Park Brewery at 8am
Rolling at 8.15am

Elevation 1136ft

We also have a route for anyone looking to do some extra credit that will be shared on the day.

This Saturday is our social ride.

Route Highlights: LA Tuna Canyon in Reserve Route. Due to the hot weather this week we are starting an hour earlier to beat the heat. There is a concert at LA Historic Park this weekend so hopefully by starting earlier we can find parking and get out before the crowds arrive.
