RYCA is founded with a vision to nurture young talent, build strong character, and create opportunities for the next generation of cricketers in our community. Riverside Youth Cricket Academy (RYCA) offers a structured program to help kids progress from beginners to confident, match-ready players.

Ages 6–8: Fun introduction to basic skills and teamwork

Ages 9–12: Build technique, accuracy, and game understanding

Ages 13–17: Advanced training with match scenarios, fitness, and strategy

With certified coaches and small group sessions, players train on both Flicx and turf pitches in a safe, supportive environment.

Flicx vs Turf:

Flicx pitch(imported from the UK): Soft, consistent bounce—ideal for beginners

Turf pitch: Natural grass with variable bounce—used for matches and advanced skills

Progression: Start on Flicx, move to turf as skills develop.

We are excited to announce the launch of our brand-new *Riverside Youth Cricket Academy (RYCA*) at Don Derr Park!

🔥Unleasing Natural Turf Wicket at RPCL🏏

We are proud to present our first natural turf wicket in Riverside—made possible through two years of consistent hard work and dedication. The journey has been challenging, but today we are excited to share this milestone with our cricket fraternity.

Thank you to everyone who supported us and for your patience throughout the process. Your encouragement truly made this possible.

We are also pleased to share that we will be unveiling our second pitch around June–July, and Sunday matches will soon be included in our scheduling. There’s a lot of cricket action coming to Don Derr, and soon will be called as *Orange Grove Cricket Complex of Riverside*.

What a way to close out the tournament! The Grand Finale delivered everything we love about the game and so much more. A massive thank you to everyone who played, watched, and supported us throughout this journey.

🏏 Spectacular Innings & Edge-of-the-Seat Drama

From the very first ball, the intensity was unmatched. We witnessed an absolute masterclass out there in the middle! The spectacular innings played under ultimate pressure will go down in our history books—pure timing, explosive power, and a chase that kept us all holding our breath until the final over.

🏅 Crowning the Champions
The post-match award ceremony was the perfect capstone to an unforgettable tournament. Congratulations to our champions, the runners-up, and all the individual award winners who left everything out on the field.

With those trophies lifted, we officially conclude the Power Series!
