Second win of the season after a disappointing loss in the second home game. Deccan is back with a bang. A strong bowling performance by the bowlers with Vishnu leading the attack with a 5 wicket haul. Also, a brilliant batting performance by Akash ensured Deccan have 2 wins out of 3 games at the start of the new season.

Second game of the season tomorrow. Deccan cricket club take on Youth at Woodley Park, Los Angeles. The lads are looking good in the nets and also, confident after winning the first game. Let's continue the same and put our best efforts once more.

Summer is here and what a terrific start to the season. Deccan Cricket Club start the season with a thumping win.
Deccan Cricket Club beat Pasadena by 46 runs.
Deccan 222/5 40overs.
Pasadena 176/10
Vineeth Nair 71*(59)
Tanmay NC 61*(40)
An excellent display on the field by the lads packed with aggression and determination.
Deccan were sent in to bat first by Pasadena. A solid start provided by the Deccan opening batsmen Mandar Patil and Akash Ushir with a 50 odd run partnership. Deccan lost a few quick wickets in the middle overs but a terrific performance by Vineeth Nair and Tanmay NC putting together a 100 odd run partnership for the 6th wicket. Truly the star performers of the day which helped Deccan post a score of 222 runs in 40 overs. The bowlers bowled out their skins to defend the score with Mandar Manjrekar picking up 3 wickets.
Great energy on the field. Deccan look stronger and better this season.
