Our USA Deaf Basketball Board of Directors is together in Washington, D.C. this weekend for our annual Board Summit.🇺🇸🏀

Tonight, we kicked things off over dinner, reconnecting, sharing ideas, and preparing for a full day of conversations tomorrow focused on the future of our organization.

We have a lot ahead of us:

☑️strengthening our organization
☑️ growing our youth and athlete pathways
☑️ building long term financial sustainability
☑️ preparing for the 2027 World Championships
☑️ expanding our programs
☑️ and laying the groundwork for an even bigger future for USA Deaf Basketball.

Great organizations aren’t built by one person. They’re built by people willing to come together, have meaningful conversations, make difficult decisions, and stay focused on the mission.

USA Deaf Women’s Basketball tryouts were a success! 🔥

A huge thank you to the Indiana School for the Deaf for welcoming us and allowing us to host our tryouts at your facility. We truly appreciate your support and hospitality.

We are grateful for the opportunity to bring our athletes together, build connections, and continue preparing for the future of USA Deaf Women’s Basketball. The talent, energy, and commitment we saw throughout the tryouts were incredible. 🏀

One team. One court. One standard.

Weekend scrimmages at Gallaudet Bison's Field House:

🏀 Scrimmage #1 vs Bullis — won regulation 75–73. Extra 10-minute quarter so more athletes could get in and be evaluated; finished 98–92 with that.

🏀 Scrimmage #2 vs DC Senate (ABA) — 90–65.

Thanks Gallaudet Bison for the court this weekend. 🙌
