100 MILLION DOLLARS!!! Our property taxes are sure to skyrocket!!! Castleberry High School was renovated during the tenure of a past Superintendent and our daughter and 4 grandchildren all graduated from Castleberry High School. They are proud to have have graduated there and were even more proud of their teachers who not only taught them but also motivated and inspired them. We do not need a $100,000,000 University type campus to make them proud and this will only hurt the residents in the area who are already just getting by, STOP THE SHAKEDOWN VOTE NO!!!

Southwestern LBC has a lot of new Boxers and Coaches, on the first night of the Dallas Golden Gloves we had many violations of the rules. Since this was the first time for many Coaches and Boxers we did let some of the minor infractions pass on the first night but tomorrow the rules will be more strictly enforced.

1. No red, pink, or orange mouthguards even on the inside.
2. The waistband of the trunks must be a different color than the jersey.
3. No braces of any kind on the upper body, you can have a brace on the lower part of the body such as knee/ankle brace as long as there are no metal parts.
4. If you are wearing tights under your trunks they must not cover the knees.

ON THE GOOD SIDE Our own soon to be World Champion Vergil Ortiz Jr. who is 15 wins with 15 knockouts and no losses will be at the Dallas Golden Gloves Tuesday night to give back to Southwestern LBC by inspiring our youth before he leaves back to California to train for his next fight so bring your gloves, Vergil shirts, or whatever you would like Vergil to autograph. The Dallas Golden Gloves is being held at the Hella Shrine Temple in Garland Texas 75043 and the action starts at 7pm, BRING THE FAMILY FOR SOME GOOD OLE' FASHIONED FUN!!!
