This weekend, the Men’s B Singles competition take center stage, with players battling with each other and the elements. Heavy rain was a constant threat, but eventually the weather relented and the final was played under clear blue skies. It was a great display of match-play tennis, with long rallies, fine shot-making and controlled aggression. Congratulations to our new B Singles Champion Nick Feczko, and to finalist Matej Sokola. Thanks to Dan for organizing the event, and to all the players who turned out to compete!

Congratulations to the Men’s B Doubles Tournament winners Alex Kwiatkowski and Matej Sokola, and to finalists Candelario Celio and Angel Acosta. Jon Fjortoft and Lou Friedman beat David Dranoff and James Panton for third place. Thanks to all the players for making this a great competition, and to Dan for putting it all together.

OPTC's official opening event took place today! Members enjoyed tennis drills, food and drink on the porch and a demo match between the pros. A big thanks to Gino and the team for organizing the event, and a warm welcome to all our new members!

Today's the official start of the 2026 season, so come on down and enjoy the clay! The courts are manicured to perfection and we've got some great weather on the horizon.

Court prep is coming along nicely, despite the pretty awful weather. The fresh top layer is finished, we’re rolling every day, and the new lines will soon go down. It won't be long!

As Winter plays its final hand, thoughts turn to the start of the new season and the return of those warm days and long evenings. We’re currently aiming to have the courts up and running by April 20th, with an opening party on May 9th, so mark your calendars. See you all very soon!
