Bus Parking: Bus parking is available in the Green County Maintenance shed lot adjacent to the ballpark on 1st St.

Fan Parking: Spectator parking is available in the grass areas surrounding the ballpark on the 1st and 3rd base sides as well as the adjacent streets. See map.
Seating: Seating in the covered grandstand, small set of bleachers on each side and a lot of room to spread out, so bring chairs and your dogs are welcome too.

Rounding out the schedule at Walt Anderson Field will be the 2024 3A champions North Polk Comets from the Raccoon River Conference facing the Clear Lake Lions from the North Central Conference.

JV game at 5pm with Varsity at 7pm.
Admission at the gate.
Popcorn and hotdogs 🌭 at the concession stand.

We wrapped up another successful Ruckus this weekend. Started with two games on Friday, for on Saturday and two on Sunday.

By Saturday afternoon, Kansas City and Chicago were both 2-0 when they faced each other. After 5 innings is was 14-14. Chicago won it on a walkoff in the bottom of the 6th to win 15-14.

Then Rippey Demons faced St Michael Angels and both were 0-2. Demons took it in 4 innings 24-4.

Sunday at 10, KC and Chicago faced off again, this time, KC Bulls dominated Chicago allowing just 2 hits and won 15-1 and the Ruckus 🏆

In the consolation game, the Angels get revenge over the Demons with a 15-4 victory.

First pitch today at 2:30 when the Rippey Demons take the field vs Kansas City Bulls. Then at 5pm the night cap features the St Michael Angels vs ChicagoEagles.

Rippey friends - this Friday is the start of Rippey Ruckus VI. Thanks to all for your support over the past 6 years since we started this. Since 2022, we have had over 20 schools bring teams to play at Walt Anderson Field. This year, I've got three dates lined up. Lets pray for dry weather.

About 10yrs ago, Eric Hanson from KCCI did a story on Rippey and he's coming back this Friday for a part his Americana story for the 250th birthday of USA.

He will be here early to get some footage of the field prep, talking to the players and plans to stay for the first game at 2:30pm

We would love to has as many locals there in the stands as it would be a great for the story to have as many in the bleachers having popcorn and enjoying us old timers playing baseball.

Action starts at 2:30 on Friday when the Rippey Demons take on the Kansas City Bulls followed by the Minnesota Angels vs Chicago Eagles.

Saturday, there will be 4 games starting at 10am going till dusk. Then on Sunday, two games starting at 10am
