We don’t just want to take ANY action; we want to take action in the right direction.

Spend the time and resources creating a habit change that will have a bigger payoff than deciding to take a new supplement.

Improving your diet leads to better outcomes time and time again, supplementing does not.

She has been a friend of the Driveway for many years, as she lives next door and has been witness to the many shenanigan's that have taken place over here for many years. 😊😊

FINALLY! With a little encouragement from her daughter, Bianca Lehne, tired of living a sedentary life style that was sapping her strength and mobility, she became a member!!
🎉🎉🎉🎉

She has gained considerable strength and improved her mobility tremendously, doing many things now, much easier than when she began!!

She continues to show up and get a little better everyday!!

Keep up the great work!!

Water, the elixar of life!

H2O regulates body temperature and provides essential lubrication for every joint.

It enables the body to get rid of waste and toxins.

An adequate amount of water a day provides:

1. More energy
2. A balance of bodily fluids
3. Clears up skin problems
4. Fights bloating
5. Helps digestion and constipation

And a host of many other functions!

BUT DON'T CHUG IT!!

Sip it slowly, little by little, throughout the day!

I start shortly after I wake, with about 8oz, then go from there.

Your goal is 1/2 your body weight in water!

If you're 200lbs you should shoot for 100 oz.

Folks out here trying to move more, eat better, and other things to improve health.

One thing we should ALL strive for, regardless of goals, is more and higher quality SLEEP!

Sleep is when our bodies create hormones that allow us to recover, changes our cognition, improves our decision making abilities, aids in memory consolidation, helps motor skills sink in, and reduces inflammation.⠀

To stay healthy & function optimally we need to make sure we are getting adequate sleep to reach our health and fitness goals.

In order to get enough sleep we need to plan ahead. Start by planning for 6 - 8 total hours in bed.

When we know what time we need to wake-up in the morning we can work backwards to find out: when we need to be asleep to get in 6-8 hours of rest, when we need to be in bed by (half an hour before we need to be asleep), and when we need to start our night time routine (1-2 Hours before we need to be in bed).

We are creatures of habit! Start going to bed at the same time everyday and waking up at the same time and soon, you'll your internal clock will adjust and getting to sleep will become easier.

Another Recipe from the Driveway!
Preparing the chicken in Instant Pot works just as well!
Coat the breasts with the oil, honey and mustard, season with salt and pepper and toss it into an Instant Pot with 1/2 cup of water or chicken broth for 15 minutes.
