The offline entry form must be completed and dropped off in the JTGC mailbox in the back left corner of the Pro Shop with cash or check no later than 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 8th, 2026. Offline Entry fees will NOT be accepted after the deadline.

Jett Hoag cleans up in better ball skins games!

A net birdie on the long ninth hole resulted in both net and gross skins for Jett Hoag in yesterday’s better ball event at the Ripon Golf Club. Jett got another with a birdie on the fifth to pocket a cool $55.50 return – not bad for a $10 investment!

Curt Zimmerman, James Moore, and Yvonne Miller were also winners in net skins, good for $27.50 apiece.

Other gross skins winners were Mark Miller, Zim, Tyler Wagner, Steve Hay, Jim Limbaugh, and Walter Gautreaux, with each skin worth $14.

Someone pulled some strings to get water in the pond. Hope most were water-free and can appreciate the beauty and the challenge!

Gautreaux-Santos and the Torres sisters claim the better ball!

On a picture-perfect day for golf at the Ripon Golf Club today, the Walter Gautreaux-Manny Santos duo fired a 5-under 57 to lead all Flight A golfers. The Torres sisters – Rocio and Liz - also came in at 5-under to capture the B Flight.
The Gautreaux-Santos pairing produced seven net birdies and only two net bogeys, coming on the first two holes.
The Torres girls had five net birdies and six total to go with a lone net birdie (hole 17).
Second place in the A flight was garnered by Greg Rightmire and Jay Brigdon who outlasted three other teams with net 58. The third-place tiebreaker went to the Steve Hay-Larry Winters tandem.
The second-place winners in the B Flight was the Holloways at net 58. The father-son Kessler group came in third at 59.
Larry Winters got closest to the pin on hole 6. Larry nearly bagged hole 14 as well until being nosed out by Don Stephenson. $20 each.
