Game has been postponed tonight!!

Today’s Boys and Girls Soccer games vs Lynchburg Clay have been postponed. The games will be made up on Saturday October 17th starting at 2pm with the Boys game. The Girls game will follow at 4pm. Thanks.

The Lady Jay flew in to Dayton ,Kentucky and left everything out on the field winning the game 8-0 . Senior Abi Taylor Led the way with 4 goal total and a hat trick in the first half. And 1 assist.
Sophomore Jenna Wilkins added a Brace and 3 assists.
Sophomore Laney Bare scored her First goal on the season.
Sophomore Journey Fulton rounded out the scoring with her first goal of the season. The girls passing and ball control looked amazing tonight and had a well deserved win.

Victory hasn’t tasted so SWEET!! The Lady Jays hard work and heart is starting to pay off,oh and a few new players!! A Brace for Freshman Ajanai Reese. Assist for Senior Abi Taylor and Assist for Jasmine Young!! A great Team effort!! Let’s keep the momentum!!

The Varsity girls traveled to Peebles tonight and fall to the Lady Indians 4-0. The girls fought hard and things continue to get better day by day game by game!! Adding players to help give us relief when girls get tired was a big bonus tonight as these multi-sport athletes start getting some practice time the development of this team will start to sky rocket!! Not the outcome we were looking for but definitely proud of how hard they have played the first 3 games of the season!! We look to rebound tomorrow at home against Northwest at 5:30 come out and support.
Also we will be selling Alani to support our girls soccer program.

I remember growing up and always hearing the saying The heart of a lion!! But this group of 10 young ladies have me Believing in the Heart of the Lady Jays. The Scoreboard doesn’t always tell the whole story. The Lady Jays fought hard tonight. Not one person who watched the game could say they didn’t play hard. As a coach we are always trying to get them to that extra gear even when they have given you it all you always ask for a little more. The girls gave it all no subs for 80 mins played 15 minutes with only 9 players while others had to deal with cramps and injuries. Keep working ladies
