Today, July 22nd, Capt. Fred came home from the lake. We appreciate all the efforts of law enforcement and rescue agencies who have been involved, plus all friends who reached out to us with well wishes and prayers. Today is July 18th. Search boats have been out every day, searching the coastline. Some from Barcelona to the PA line, other one from Dunkirk to Barcelona. No results. We thank the Chautauqua County Sheriff and the State Police for their continuing efforts.

Update as of July 15th. No results yet. Search Boat will go out tomorrow again. They continue to search the coastline and surrounding areas. Thank you, everyone for your shared memories, pictures, prayers and offers of help. It is encouraging and yet humbling to know how many people were touched by his life, words, prayers, and actions. Due to unforeseen circumstances, Cast Away charters will not be scheduling any future bookings. We urge you to check with other certified local charters and still continue to enjoy the bounty that Lake Erie has to offer.
