We have two important fundraisers coming up at **Golden State Shooting Center**, and we hope you’ll join us for these great causes.

# # # **September 26 — Bear River Shotgun Team Fundraiser**
The Bear River Shotgun Team is hosting a fundraiser to support its youth program.

Have you never tried sporting clays? This is the perfect opportunity to give it a shot! The targets will be fun and challenging, and lunch is included with your entry. You’ll also have the chance to purchase raffle tickets for great prizes and play the **Racing Rabbit** game to win even more tickets.

# # # **October 10 — Breast Cancer Fundraiser**
Our second fundraiser will support breast cancer awareness and research. It will be an incredible day featuring food, raffle prizes, and even an opportunity to donate hair.

Several people have been growing their hair out to donate to **Wigs for Kids**, helping provide wigs for children in need.

All the information for both shoots is included below. Sign up today, support these meaningful causes, and enjoy a great day at the range!

# # Upcoming Events

This Sunday, we gear up for the first **CYSSA Sporting Clays event**. Our Sporting Clays course will be **closed Friday and Saturday** as we prepare for the event on **Sunday, September 5, 2026**.

Our next **NSCA Tournament** is **September 12, 2026**, and registration is now live on **Score Chaser**—go get signed up today!

Each class winner will take home a **belt buckle and a flat of shells**. If we reach **60 or more registered shooters by September 10, 2026**, we will hold a free giveaway. And, naturally, the more shooters who sign up, the more prizes we’ll add!

Let’s get to 60 shooters—and then keep going!

**Help Support Families Affected by the California–Nevada Border Fires**

We’re setting up a donation box at the club to help people who have lost everything in the fires. We welcome donations of:

- Clothing for men, women, and children
- Baby clothes and diapers
- Toiletries and other essential items

If you have extra items to spare, please feel free to donate. Every contribution can make a meaningful difference to families in need. Thank you for your support and generosity.

Our August NSCA Tournament is just a handful of days away!

Join us this Saturday for an exciting shoot featuring **150 targets**, with **buckles awarded to each class winner**. Don’t miss your chance to compete, connect, and maybe add some shiny hardware to your collection!
