This quote is related to two others that have recently circulated on social media. The first is: "Every time you get upset at something, ask yourself if you were to die tomorrow, was it worth wasting your time being angry?" (Robert Tew). The second is: "Rise above the emotions of others." (Unknown).

Dwelling on negative emotions won't lead to happiness or positive outcomes. Instead of sulking, take action and seek solutions, while maintaining a positive attitude. These are more effective ways to find happiness.

Merry Christmas, and best holiday wishes to you on behalf of MBW Boats! In the spirit of the season, I wanted to share some very special music with you: Relaxing Saxophone Christmas Music, Parts 1 and 2, recorded by Phillip R. Oliver.

What makes this music special? It was recorded by my very talented brother-in-law in December, 2009. Unfortunately, a year later he lost his battle with cancer at the young age of 37. He left behind two young daughters and a grief-stricken family.

Eleven years later, I married into this family. Cleaning out the garage one day, I came across these recordings on a CD, seemingly left forgotten under layers of junk and dust. The recordings are good. So, in the spirit of the season — and as a simple tribute to Phillip — I wanted to share his music via our YouTube channel. I hope that you'll enjoy it, and that his love of playing the saxophone might bring a smile to your face, as well as a little Christmas cheer.
