Meet Sebas. 🌊
Idaho born and raised out of Grangeville, Sebas has spent the last 4 seasons dialing in his craft on the river with Mountain River Outfitters. The Lower Salmon is his zone, miles of changing canyon walls, hidden wildlife, and stretches of water that feel different every single time you run them. No two trips are ever the same and that’s exactly why he keeps coming back.
For Sebas, guiding isn’t just about the whitewater (though he’ll absolutely get you through it with style). It’s about showing people what this place really is: raw, wild Idaho. The kind of place where mornings start with fresh coffee, the sound of the blaster echoing through camp, and the river slowly coming to life.
He’s the guy keeping it easy, keeping it fun, and making sure every crew feels like they belong out there. By the end of the trip, guests don’t just remember the rapids, they remember the feeling of being out there, fully in it.
Camp specialty? Cornbread with honey butter.
His mindset on the water:
