Finally got the job done on this great big bear that Micah and Alan have been working on for a few weeks! These big bears aren’t ever easy to get and this one was started at 8 am and it didn’t end until 10 hours later. What an experience for a 15 year old kid to keep his composure and get up close and personal on a bay up and finish this big bear after covering a lot of miles. This old boar was covered in bite marks, claw marks and even an old bullet hole. Congratulations Cutter on a great Idaho Bear! warning: there may be a little cowboy vocabulary in this post. Throwback. In 2020 we had a bunch of cancellations due to Covid so Rylee ( the bear camp cook) got to be the client. Her bear hunt didn’t last long. Micah put this big boar in a tree in less than 2 hours. Now she is graduating valedictorian of her high school class, has graduated college with her associates degree and is headed to Oregon tech on a basketball scholarship. She has always been a hard worker and overachieved at everything she does. Congratulations Rylee, HCO will miss you!

Bear season is off to a heck of a start.
We’ve already turned up some great bears, good weather, and even better company. A lot of miles, and some unforgettable moments already on the board.
