Mom and daughter private basic pistol training last night.

We started SFD Tactical because we wanted to empower the American people to protect themselves. To teach them the safe fundamentals and application of fi****ms so they can feel confident and capable.

In less than 2 hours the daughter went from never shooting a handgun, to not missing a single steel target in a course of fire. Solid work, ladies! Thanks for coming out.

We’ve developed our women-only basic handgun training class to encourage you to hone your skills in the most comfortable environment possible.

The basic handgun class is perfect for both new and experienced shooters. This class is designed for people that have limited shooting or no shooting experience, but is also a great refresher for the more experienced shooter.

The class will involve both classroom and range time with the emphasis on actual shooting and handling of a firearm. It will focus on fundamentals including stance, grip, trigger control and mindset. By the end of the class, you will be able to shoot safely, comfortably and with confidence.

Confidence is built through repetition and practice. There’s no substitute for time behind the gun, honing your skills and mastering your craft.

Shooting is all about precision. It’s about knowing your firearm and your own abilities so well that it becomes second nature. The goal is to react instinctively, without hesitation. If you’re not there yet, don’t panic. Building this level of confidence takes dedication, patience, and a lot of practice. Keep aiming for perfection, and with time and effort, you’ll hit the target every time.
