We are excited to announce our 3/4th grade HOOPSTARS Fall Travel Basketball Tryouts, and we’re looking for dedicated athletes who are ready to compete, improve, and commit to developing their skills and becoming better basketball players.

📅 Date: Thursday, August 27th
🕓 Time: 4:00-5:15PM
📍 Location: Notre Dame Gym
990 Fairview Road
Swarthmore, PA 19081

Tryout Information: Please note this is a closed tryout. To minimize distractions only registered athletes will be allowed in the gym.

Our travel program is designed for players who want more than recreational basketball. This is an opportunity for athletes who are willing to work hard, learn the game, and compete within the region.

Our program includes:

Weekly team practices
Regional tournament competition
High-level skill development
Experienced coaching
A positive, competitive team environment

We are asking our incredible HoopStart community to take a minute to read through this post and rally around one of our very own.

Our sweet Sonya has been a bright light in our program since the day she walked into the gym. Her smile, determination, confidence, and fierce spirit have inspired everyone around her. She is a true leader, a wonderful teammate, and a little girl who has captured the hearts of our coaches, players, and families.

As Sonya and her family face an unimaginable journey following a recent unexpected diagnosis, we are asking our HoopStart family to do what we do best—show up for one another.

Please keep Sonya, her brother Grant, her parents, and her loved ones in your thoughts and prayers. Pray for strength, comfort, healing, wisdom for her medical team, and hope on the difficult days ahead.
