There is a BRAND NEW sports league in town. Ridley Hockey League is a ball hockey league (i.e., dek, floor, street, foot) that will train and develop the hockey and team building skills of each player signed up. We will hold practices/clinics, form teams, play games, playoffs and championships. We are hoping to have a league season every 3 months, starting in March. This game is played on foot, so no prior skills needed. Please spread the word by sharing this post, tweeting about it, sending text messages, talking about it, emailing families and friends, etc.

RHL registrations are now open!!! A flyer is attached. There are two separate links for registering. One is with our league (sign-up every season) and the other is with USA Ball Hockey (once per year-for insurance, training videos, tips, rulebook, helmet sticker and more). Each player needs to be registered in both places and individually.

The equipment needed to play is a helmet with full cage, elbow pads, gloves, shin guards and stick (goalie gear can be discussed). You will be able to use your pre-purchased equipment, as long as the player has all of the above. In addition, we are putting together a discounted equipment package to offer to the players of our league.

The league may begin in March (hopefully a new season every 3 months; except winter). All practices and clinics to start out. We want all the youth to learn the game and not just play games. Sunday may be the day for games, with other days that include at night during the week (sunlight dependant) or an occasional Saturday practice/clinic. We believe it won't be a huge time commitment.
