My name is Antoinette. I visited Ridgway with my husband, Kevin (aka Grumpdog), and our two daughters with their families, including five grandchildren, aged 9 down to baby Cole. We bought supplies from Ridgway Market for a picnic; they even warmed water to heat up the baby's bottle. My granddaughter Emma was entranced by the sunflower-themed bathroom facilities. After settling by the bridge, the children had a blast splashing in the river. The thrift store provided floaties for the little ones to float down the 'waterfall.' We rented bikes from Ridgway Adventure Sports and took turns riding the breathtaking bike trails. The staff were so helpful and patient when three generations of excited, animated visitors piled into their building. Unfortunately, we were so busy having fun that I only have a couple of photos of us on the bikes. After a day full of adventure, we had delicious pizza at the brewery, and us moms perused some quaint shops and galleries. Everyone in Ridgway greeted us with a smile, and we had excellent service everywhere we went. What a wonderful day and precious memories. Thank you, Ridgway, for making our visit so memorable. Sincerely, Antoinette (Granny Nette and Grumpog)
Thank you, Granny Nette and Grumpdog, for sharing your experience and family photos with us! Thanks, too, for participating in the Ridgway FUSE Creative Main Street's First Friday drawing! We can't wait to welcome you and your family back to Ridgway soon!
