OCB is a non-profit organization that is working hard to bring baseball to the youth of Ouray County.

We currently coach teams for youth aged 5-12 with the hope to keep expanding to older kids each year!

Today is the day!

If you would like to donate toward the future of a CHSAA regulation baseball field at Ridgway Athletic Park, tonight at 6PM MST is the perfect time to do it! Youth Sports Giving Day donations to OCB are matched 1:1 until the $1 Million pool runs out (probably at 6:05!)

Two ways to do it:

1) Come on down to the Ridgway Visitor’s Center from 5:30-6:30 to enjoy some drinks, snacks and baseball celebration!

YOUTH SPORTS GIVING DAY IS ALMOST HERE! ⚾️ 🥎

Please join us this coming Tuesday, September 1 at the Ridgway Visitor’s Center from 5:30-6:30 to learn more about Ouray County Baseball and Softball, our plans for a future CHSSA regulation baseball field at the Ridgway Athletic Park, and enjoy some drinks and snacks on us!

If you’re interested in donating to our program, Tuesday September 1 at 6pm on the dot is the time to do it, as all donations are matched 1:1 through Youth Sports Giving Day!!

Can’t make it to the Visitor’s Center on Tuesday, but still want to donate? No worries! You can follow this link at 6pm on the dot, and your donation will be matched!

(And we really do mean 6pm MST exactly. Last year, the matching funds ran out after 5 minutes across different youth sports organizations across Colorado!!)

Another day, another opportunity to come on down to the Ouray County Fair and grab lunch. All proceeds support Ouray County Baseball and Softball.

It’s fair day! 🐄 🐑 🐖 🍀

Come on down to the Ouray County Fairgrounds and 4H Center today and tomorrow (Friday and Saturday, August 14 & 15) to support our 4H kids, and then pop on by the food tent run by Ouray County Baseball volunteers for lunch! Food tent will be open 11am-4pm.

That’s a wrap on the first ever girls softball season in Ouray County!! These 11u players, many brand new to the sport, crushed it this summer. Here’s to Ouray County Softball - let’s go girls!!! 🥎

Our 11u DCI Construction (age 10-11) and 13u Ouray Inn (age 12-13) teams BOTH have baseball games today and tomorrow at Frontier Field in Ridgway (south of Chipeta).

Concessions will be closed Tuesday (Solar Ranch HOA meeting conflicts) but OPEN on Wednesday - come on down for a hot dog, sunflower seeds, big league chew, etc. and cheer on the boys vs Norwood (tonight) and Naturita (tomorrow).

Today is the day! We're looking forward to seeing everyone tonight at our first ever Fun on the Field Night at the Ridgway Athletic Park / Frontier Field from 4pm - 8pm.

HOME RUN DERBY: We have a free home run derby for ages 4 - 16. Please head to the field early to get your child signed up! This is designed to be super fun and encouraging for kids - there will be music and younger kids can use the tee.

SILENT AUCTION and PRIZES: We have amazing silent auction items from MLB players past and present and incredible prizes.

CONCESSIONS: Hot Dogs, Chili Dogs, Chips, Sodas, Cracker Jacks - get your Cracker Jacks!

DUNK TANK: 3 balls for $5 - bring cash!

FAST PITCH: $1 per pitch - bring cash! Fastest pitch per age group wins a signed Major League Baseall

FREE GAMES: Ring toss, pin the ball on the bat and field, bean bag toss, sack races!

SPECIAL GUEST: Mike Trujillo, former pitcher for the Boston Red Sox, Seattle Mariners and Detroit Tigers, will be joining us from 5pm - 7pm, signing photos in the pavillion!

We can't wait to see everyone tonight for this special event that will help raise funds for the future baseball fields in Ridgway! Step up to the plate for Fun on the Field Night, Ouray County!
